Thame United Reserves returned to Meadow View Park at the weekend to take on Bicester Town Colts in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division. With Bicester sitting second bottom of the table Thame were looking to consolidate their place towards the top of the table. But it was another disappointing match with Thame far below their best and went down to a 3 - 1 defeat, Although Thame remain in third place there is now an 8 point game off of top spot.

In the Aylesbury and District League Division One Thame United B had a local derby away at Haddenham United. It was a tough afternoon with the side on the wrong end of a 6 - 2 defeat, which drops the team down to fifth place in the league, Thames consolation goals were scored by Joe Rycraft and Julian Reed. It was better news in Division Two as Thame United C had a good home win against Aylesbury Vale Toqeers Titan Reserves goals from Ollie Costar, Euan Macfarlane, Colin Smith and Ben Ward help secure a 4 - 1 win.

On Sunday Thame United Women were on the road in the Thames Valley Counties league, when they travelled to play Easington Sports. This was a battle between first and third in the league. It was the home side that came out on top with a 3 - 1 victory, with Yasmin Williams getting Thame’s consolation goal. The defeat sees Thame slip to fourth place in the table albeit have games in hand on the teams above.
