A round up of the senior team results

Thame United Reserves were in action in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division, when they travelled to play Marston Saints. After the previous weeks defeat, Thame bounced back with a 3 - 2 victory with goals from Dino Bonwick, Tom Lankseter and Kamram Ali. The victory keeps Thame in second place in the league, one point behind leaders Brill United, who have a game in hand and six clear of third place Kennington Athletic.

In the Aylesbury and District League Thame United B were at home to Aylesbury Royals FC, in Division One and the home side were comfortable winners by 4 - 0, goals from Alex Booth, Matthew Hill, Burundi Maxwell and Kareem Sulaiman secure the victory, Thame sit in seventh place in the table.

In Division Two, Thame United C suffered their fifth defeat on the trot going down at home to Steeple and Ludgershall by 4 - 0. The defeat leaves the side one place off of the bottom of the table.

Looking ahead

Wednesday 29 January

Thame United are back in the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One action this Wednesday when they face Kidlington, at Yarnton road, their second Oxfordshire derby in 5 days. This is the rearranged fixture from New Year's Day which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

This is the reverse fixture in the 2024 / 2025 season, the two teams met back in August with Thame running out comfortable 5 - 0 winners. Since then the two team's trajectories have been on different paths with Thame hovering around the play off places and Kidlington struggling to get out of the relegation zone, with 27 points between the two teams. Thame have won fourteen games this season with Kidlington only winning four of their 22 games. Kick off at Yarnton Road is 19:45pm.

Thame United Veterans are in action against Didcot Town Veterans in the Uhlsports Hellenic Veterans Premier Division, This is a clash of the top two sides with both teams on 18 points from 8 game, with Thame on top on goal difference. Kick off 19:00 at Meadow View Park.
