Both teams since then hadn’t conceded a goal. So was going to be a very tight match. Thame started the game strongly but failed to capitalise with their time on top. Talia Mead whipped the corner into the near post but was headed back out to her. She crossed the ball first time into the back post where striker Shona Reid-Evan’s was waiting to poke it home. Equalising the game in the 70th minute.

Thame looked to nick it right at the death when wings number one pulled off a number of saves to keep the game level.
