In the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One Thame United First Team welcomed Welwyn Garden City at the ASM Stadium, the visitors took an early lead on 11 minutes when a cross from the left was swept in at the front post. Despite almost constant pressure for the remaining 80 minutes the home side created few chances and when they did the finishing wasn’t good enough and ended up loosing by a single goal.

A tough away fixture for Thame Reserves, as they faced Kennington who finished 3rd last year in the Oxford Senior League. Kennington are also notoriously strong at home. Despite a shuffled side, Thame matched a very physical side and created the better opportunities in the first half. The breakthrough came on the 70 minute mark when top scorer Lewis Cross scored his fourth goal in three games. In the Aylesbury and District League Division One, Thame United B team suffered a home defeat to Aylesbury Hearts, A Bukunmi Maxwell goal put Thame in the lead, the 16 year old scoring his first goal in senior football. In Division Two Thame United C went down away to Aylesbury Hornets Reserves, The Hornets took an early lead, Stephen Perry managed to equalise for Thame after going into the break a goal down. However a quick second half goal from Hornets was enough to hold on for the three points.
